Summary
MOREgroup is seeking a Cost Estimator to join their team in Fort Worth, TX. The role involves reviewing and revising estimates, coordinating project phase estimates, and providing expert advice on costs for materials and systems.
About the Role
As a Cost Estimator, you will be responsible for executing detailed takeoffs, managing trade coverage and bid leveling, preparing narratives, and supporting presentations. You will coordinate project phase estimates, assist with value engineering, and analyze market trends and material availability. Your role will also include maintaining a calendar for bidding projects and updating the database with regional construction costs.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- Construction background with general contractor experience.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Revit, Bluebeam, and BIM 360.
- Ability to interpret incomplete drawings and perform accurate quantity takeoffs.
Preferred:
- Skilled in forecasting costs and assessing risk factors.
- Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple estimates simultaneously.
