Starlite Recovery Center is seeking a full-time Counselor (Substance Use Disorder Counselor) to join their team in Center Point, TX. The role involves providing effective drug rehab for substance abuse, alcohol addiction, and co-occurring issues.
About the Role
As a Counselor, you will be responsible for conducting initial assessments, creating individualized treatment plans, and providing individual and group counseling sessions. You will facilitate family sessions, assist clients in identifying discharge plans, and ensure timely documentation of patient care. Additionally, you will provide crisis intervention and case management duties to ensure quality care for clients.
About You
Required:
- Master's degree from an accredited college or university.
- Licensed in the state of Texas as LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LCDC.
Preferred:
- Experience in counseling field instruction/internship or similar practicum.
- Familiarity with Chemical Dependency, Dual Diagnosis, 12 Step Program, Smart Recovery, Crisis Intervention, CBT/REBT, DBT/Mindfulness.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

Starlite Recovery Center
Starlite Recovery Center is located on 55 acres in Center Point, Texas. This center treats adult men and women who struggle with substance abuse and co-occurring mental health conditions. Starlite offers medically-supervised detox and residential programs. We offer specialized programming for LGBTQ+ individuals, active-duty military members and veterans, first responders, and patients who wish to have Christian principles incorporated into their treatment. This center focuses on the abuse of substances including alcohol, heroin, cocaine, marijuana, meth, opioids, prescription drugs, stimulants, and synthetic marijuana. Additionally, Starlite provides care for co-occurring disorders such as depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety.
