Summary
Amity Foundation is seeking a Counselor I - (LAC) to join their team in Lancaster, CA. The role involves delivering rehabilitative programming services to participants in the Integrated Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program (ISUDT) within in-prison facilities.
About the Role
As a Counselor I, you will be responsible for conducting group and individual sessions, implementing program curriculum, developing treatment/action plans, and maintaining participant records. You will engage with participants daily, evaluate their progress, and collaborate with various staff to support their transition back to the community.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 6 months of experience providing SUDT services as a certified AOD Counselor.
- Current AOD Certification with an organization recognized by the DHCS OR Registration with BBS or AOD certifying body.
Preferred:
- Operational knowledge of MS Office Suite and ARMS.
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and communication skills.
