This includes providing individual and group counseling, conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and maintaining confidential records. You will also engage in outreach programs, crisis intervention, and collaborate with campus resources to support student well-being.
About You
Required:
- Graduate Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Psychology.
- Associate Licensed to practice in the State of Georgia (LAPC, LMSW).
- Experience in counseling, typically gained through an apprenticeship/internship or similar position for one to two years.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of counseling principles related to at-risk populations and crisis situations.
- Experience with short-term therapy models and group counseling modalities.
- Skills in decision making, problem solving, and interpersonal relations.
