About the Role
As a Counselor Intern LCDC-I, you will be responsible for preparing and maintaining accurate patient files, coordinating care for assigned patients, and conducting comprehensive patient assessments. You will develop and implement treatment plans in accordance with state regulations, ensuring timely documentation and referrals for psychological and social needs.
About You
Required:
- Minimum age requirement of 18.
- Must hold counselor intern license through the state of Texas.
- Required/Maintained state trainee status, intern, registration or in training standing.
- Experience working with opiate addicted population.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Skilled in conducting assessments and treatment plan development.
- Excellent documentation and computer skills.
- Knowledge of local community drug trends and implications of addiction.
- Ability to work effectively within medical hierarchy and assist in complex problem solving.
- Good time management skills.
- Ability to work with a diverse population and exhibit excellent customer service skills.
- Self-directed with ability to work with little supervision.
- Satisfactory criminal background check and drug screen.
