Summary
Platt Electric Supply is seeking a Counter Sales Representative to join their team in Marysville, WA. The role involves providing excellent customer service and product knowledge to assist customers with their purchases and orders.
About the Role
As a Counter Sales Representative, you will be responsible for assisting customers promptly and courteously, driving electrical distribution sales, maintaining the showroom, and supporting warehouse functions. You will also stay informed about product knowledge and assist inside sales as needed.
About You
Required:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred:
- Electrical product knowledge and experience, including lighting, switchgear, controls, and electrical commodities.
- Demonstrated knowledge and experience of electrical distribution or other electrical sales environments.
- Familiarity with automated order entry systems & PCs running Windows-based software.
- Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills.
