About the Role
As a County Caseworker 1, you will work in a County Children and Youth Services Agency, participating in training programs to help children and families achieve a normal home life. You will assist clients in navigating community resources, complete necessary forms, and apply relevant laws and regulations to support families in need. The position requires teamwork and the ability to work with diverse populations, including those who are physically challenged, mentally disabled, or economically disadvantaged.
About You
Required:
- Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level coursework including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
- A bachelor's degree supplemented by 12 college credits in relevant social sciences.
Preferred:
- Experience in case management or social services.
- Knowledge of community resources and social service programs.
