About the Role
As a County Caseworker 1, you will be responsible for providing a full range of social services to children and families in need of Children & Youth Services. This includes collaborating with various social services agencies, conducting assessments, and developing service plans to support vulnerable populations in Monroe County.
About You
Required:
- Two years of experience as a County Social Services Aide 3 and two years of college level coursework including 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
- A bachelor's degree supplemented by 12 college credits in sociology, social welfare, psychology, gerontology, criminal justice, or related social sciences.
Preferred:
- Experience in case management or social services.
- Knowledge of child protective services laws and regulations.
