About the Role
As a Court Reporter, you will be responsible for accurately recording all courtroom proceedings, providing read backs of testimony, researching legal terminology, preparing transcripts, and certifying final transcripts. You will also need to maintain and operate reporting equipment and ensure compliance with legal standards.
About You
Required:
Certified Shorthand Reporter (CSR) certificate issued by the California Department of Consumers Affairs Court Reporters Board.
Ability to operate and maintain reporting and voice writing equipment.
Preferred:
Experience with realtime reporting skills.
Familiarity with court operations and courtroom procedures.
