Summary
CAPITOL REGION EDUCATION COUNCIL is seeking a Paraeducator for the District Schools and Connecticut Technical Education and Career Systems (CTECS) for the 25-26 Academic School Year.
About the Role
As a Paraeducator, you will support certified staff in delivering educational services and programming to students, providing individualized or small-group assistance to enhance learning and foster student success. Your responsibilities will include assisting with classroom management, supporting students with specialized needs, implementing educational plans, and monitoring student progress.
About You
Required:
High school diploma plus two years of college credit, or an Associate of Arts degree, or a passing score on the ParaPro.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Preferred:
Prior experience working with children with disabilities.
