About the Role
About You
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in any U.S. jurisdiction and admission to the state bar where the office is located (or willingness to obtain).
- Minimum 2 years of experience practicing immigration law, focusing on removal defense and detention/bond hearings.
- Experience conducting hearings and presenting oral arguments in immigration court.
- Demonstrated ability to handle a high-volume caseload while providing excellent client service.
- Fluency in Spanish (or another widely spoken language).
- Strong research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
- Compassion, cultural competency, and a commitment to immigrant rights.
