Behavioral Health Response is seeking a Crisis Police Response Clinician (CPR-C) to join their Justice and Crisis Response Unit in St. Louis, MO. The role involves providing crisis intervention services alongside St. Louis Police Officers.
About the Role
As a Crisis Police Response Clinician, you will respond to 911 calls and community encounters, providing assessment, referral services, behavioral health education, brief treatment, de-escalation, and follow-up services. You will develop individualized treatment plans and work in a hybrid office-field environment, often in high-stress situations.
About You
Required:
Bachelor's degree in social work, criminal justice, psychology, or a related field.
6 months experience in the mental health field within the private or public sector.
Working knowledge of the St. Louis Area Mental Health Network, the Crisis Intervention Model, and the DSM-V.
Valid driver's license (MO Class E or state equivalent).
Willingness to meet any/all regulatory requirements of our partners, including vaccinations and background checks.
Preferred:
Experience in crisis intervention or emergency response settings.
Ability to work at least 1 weekend day.
