About the Role
As a Critical Care Technician, you will be responsible for assisting with patient care, including safety measures, personal hygiene, specimen collection, and nutrition support. You will also perform vital sign checks, assist with CPR, and maintain a clean and organized environment. Your role will require you to document observations accurately and respond to emergency situations under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Physician.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- One year prior experience as an EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care or equivalent skill in long-term care setting, completion of a medical assistant program, or successful completion of two clinical semesters of an accredited nursing school.
- AHA BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
- Successful completion of the Capital Health UAP Training program within 90 days of employment.
