About the Role
As a Critical Care Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring patient safety, providing personal care, applying basic dressings, collecting specimens, and assisting with nutrition and vital signs. You will also document observations, assist with CPR, perform phlebotomy, and maintain a clean and organized environment. This role requires adaptability to changing department needs and effective communication with nursing staff.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Experience as an EMT, military medic, PCA in an acute care setting, or completion of a medical assistant program.
- AHA BLS certification.
Preferred:
- Certification as a Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA).
- Successful completion of the Capital Health UAP Training program within 90 days of employment.
