About the Role
As a Critical Care Transport Paramedic, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, organizing, documenting, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with the critical care transport nurse. You will provide professional care to patients' urgent/emergent needs prior to air or ground transfer, evaluate patient care delivered, maintain equipment and supplies, and act as an educator to professional groups and EMS in the service area.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an accredited paramedic program
- At least 3 years Paramedic field experience
- Current license as a Paramedic from the State of Ohio
- CAMTS approved advanced certification (FP-C or CCP-C) required or obtained within 1 year of hire
- Basic Cardiac Life Support Certification required
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification required
- Basic Trauma Life Support certification or equivalent required within 6 months of hire
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification required within 6 months of hire
- Neonatal Advanced Life Support Certification required
Preferred:
- BCLS instructor preferred
- ACLS Instructor certification preferred
- Michigan Paramedic license preferred
