QTS Data Centers is seeking a Critical Operations Technician I to join their team in Eagle Mountain, UT. The role involves the installation, repair, and maintenance of IT, electrical, mechanical, plumbing/piping equipment, and machinery in a data center environment.
About the Role
As a Critical Operations Technician I, you will be responsible for monitoring operations, conducting assessments of building systems, performing tests, and assisting customers on the Data Center floor. Your daily tasks will include preventive maintenance on equipment, managing tickets, and responding to emergencies. This role requires on-site work to support a 24/7 data center environment.
About You
Required:
- Two or more years of technical training, military training, or workplace equivalency.
- Background in areas of IT, electrical, and/or mechanical.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
Preferred:
- One or more years of work experience in a data center environment, NOC, or equivalent.
- BOD OEM (Panduit, Corning), A+, Network+, BICSI Installer I certifications.
