UPMC is seeking a Full-Time Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to join their dynamic team at UPMC East in Monroeville, PA. The role involves providing anesthetic care for patients in collaboration with supervising physicians.

About the Role

As a CRNA at UPMC East, you will administer anesthesia and related care, including pre-anesthetic preparation, induction, maintenance, emergence, post-anesthesia care, and peri-anesthesia support. You will also be responsible for monitoring patients' reactions to anesthetic agents, teaching and evaluating newly hired CRNAs, and participating in quality improvement processes. The position offers diverse clinical experiences in a state-of-the-art surgical suite with a focus on patient comfort and safety.

About You

Required:

Graduate of an accredited nurse anesthesia education program.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
Board Certified, Recertified or eligible by the Council on Certification of Nurse Anesthetists.
Knowledgeable regarding controlled substance policies in accordance with Federal and State laws.

Preferred:

Experience in administering anesthesia for a wide range of surgical procedures.
AHA-approved ACLS/PALS certifications as required by institution of employ.
