About the Role
As a Crypto AML Advisor & Compliance Officer, you will design and oversee the compliance program for digital asset and crypto products, conduct risk assessments, establish compliance policies, and serve as a subject matter expert on regulatory topics. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure compliance with laws and regulations, provide guidance in a fast-paced environment, and engage with regulators to promote a culture of compliance.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree strongly preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of relevant compliance experience in financial services, with at least 3 years in crypto, blockchain, or digital asset-related compliance.
- In-depth understanding of U.S. regulatory regimes affecting digital assets.
- Proven experience working with product, technology, and legal teams to operationalize compliance requirements.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of international crypto and digital asset markets and regulatory regimes.
- Experience with decentralized finance (DeFi), NFTs, stable-coins, blockchain forensics, and tokenized assets.
