About the Role
As a CSOC Threat Management Specialist (Tier 2), you will be responsible for identifying cybersecurity problems, analyzing network traffic for intrusion attempts, recommending detection mechanisms, and providing subject matter expertise on network-based attacks. You will also execute operational processes in response to security incidents, utilize AI/ML tools for anomaly detection, and manage email security and network monitoring.
About You
Required:
- BA or BS in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field.
- 3+ years IT security experience with exposure to AI/ML projects.
- 2+ years’ experience in network traffic analysis.
- Strong working knowledge of Boolean Logic, TCP/IP Fundamentals, Network Level Exploits, and Threat Management.
Preferred:
- One or more relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED), GIAC Certified Security Essentials (GSEC), CISSP, or SSCP.
- Experience with cloud security (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Hands-on experience with cybersecurity automation (e.g., SOAR platforms).
- Familiarity with AI/ML techniques in cybersecurity.
