Summary
AdventHealth is seeking a CT MRI Technologist to join their team in Palm Coast, FL. The role involves performing high-quality CT and MRI examinations in accordance with physician orders and departmental protocols to ensure diagnostic image quality and patient safety.
About the Role
As a CT MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for conducting CT and MRI examinations, reviewing patient history, ensuring MRI safety compliance, preparing and administering IV contrast material, and maintaining accurate documentation. You will also educate patients about procedures and ensure exam rooms are ready for use.
About You
Required:
- High School Graduate or Equivalent
- 2+ years of CT/MR experience
- Basic Life Support - CPR Certification (BLS)
- Registered Technologist - Magnetic Resonance Imaging (R.T.(MR)ARRT) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT)
- Knowledge of CT, X-ray, and MRI procedures/protocols
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
- Patient care and communication skills for all age groups
Preferred:
- Associate or Bachelor's degree
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists - Computed Tomography (ARRT-CT)
