About the Role
As a CT Scan Technologist, you will be responsible for operating the CT scanner, performing calibration tests, collecting patient data, assisting patients and Radiologists, and ensuring quality control of the equipment. You will also monitor patients during scans, process films, and maintain records related to equipment and patient care.
About You
Required:
- Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiological Technology (ARRT).
- Current CPR certification from AHA, BLS for Healthcare Providers.
- RI state radiation license and CT supplemental license from the DOH.
- Two years of formal training in an approved School of Radiologic Technology.
- Six months' experience as a Radiologic Technologist in a hospital radiology department.
Preferred:
- In-depth knowledge of diagnostic radiologic procedures.
- Basic understanding of computer console operations.
- Interpersonal skills to effectively interface with patients and staff.
