About the Role
As a CT Technologist II, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic radiology procedures, including common and special CT exams. You will work independently, providing direct assistance to physicians, ensuring patient safety, and adhering to radiation standards. Additionally, you will mentor CT Technologist I and students, promoting a positive work environment and effective communication within the patient care team.
About You
Required:
- Graduate of an education program approved by the credentialing body for the required credentials.
- Three years of experience as a CT Technologist.
- BLS - Basic Life Support or Instructor (AHA).
- CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist - State Licensure.
- ARRT-R, CNMT, ARRT-THR, or ARRT-CT certification.
Preferred:
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently.
- Basic computer knowledge and proficiency in hospital/radiology information systems.
