Summary
CSC Generation is seeking a Culinary Lead to join their team at Sur La Table in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves inspiring customers and managing culinary employees to ensure exceptional cooking class experiences.
About the Role
As a Culinary Lead, you will model and direct employees to meet customer service standards, deliver cooking classes, maintain sanitary conditions, and ensure food safety. You will also provide training, coaching, and performance feedback to culinary staff, while seeking opportunities to increase sales and collaborating with the Resident Chef and other departments.
About You
Required:
- 1-2 years of progressively responsible kitchen operations or kitchen management experience.
- Culinary degree or equivalent Sous Chef experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Valid Food Handlers / Food Managers Certification.
- Must be at least 21 years old.
- Familiarity with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Demonstrated successful teaching and training experience.
Preferred:
- Proven ability to drive sales and motivate teams.
- Proven training and communication skills.
- Proven leadership and financial management skills.
