About the Role
As a Cumberland Paratransit Driver, you will operate a van/bus to transport elderly and disabled passengers according to a daily manifest. Responsibilities include driving defensively, completing vehicle inspections, assisting passengers, maintaining accurate records, and performing general vehicle servicing and cleaning. You will work Monday through Friday, with shifts ranging from 7 to 9 hours a day between 6 am and 6 pm.
About You
Required:
- Must possess a valid driver's license at the time of hire.
- Must be willing to obtain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class 'C' with Passenger Endorsement within the first year of employment.
Preferred:
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
- Job-related experience in transportation services.
