About the Role
As a Custodial / Maintenance Services Substitute, you will be responsible for cleaning and maintaining school facilities, assisting with classroom setups, and ensuring building security. You will also support maintenance staff with various tasks such as changing filters and light bulbs, and maintaining the grounds.
About You
Required:
- Graduation from high school or equivalent, or at least two years of custodial experience.
- Ability to communicate and maintain good working relations with all District employees and the public.
- Ability to work effectively in an environment with frequent interruptions.
- Knowledge of state and local codes related to assigned trade/craft.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work using ladders and mechanical lifts.
Preferred:
- Bilingual and bicultural skills.
- Experience with intrusion alarms, fire alarm systems, and HVAC systems.
