About the Role
As a Custodian (Second Shift), you will be responsible for securing the Salem School District property, performing cleaning tasks, and maintaining the premises. Your daily duties will include checking and securing doors, cleaning classrooms and restrooms, moving furniture, and performing minor maintenance tasks. You will work under the direction of the Head Custodian and other supervisors, ensuring that the school environment is clean and safe for students and staff.
About You
Required:
- Any combination of education and experience that provides the knowledge and skills listed.
- Typically the equivalent to two (2) years of recent full-time custodial experience in commercial buildings and/or facilities.
Preferred:
- Knowledge of methods, chemicals, disinfectants, and equipment used in cleaning.
- Ability to operate floor care machines and other tools safely and efficiently.
