Summary
AVONDALE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL DISTRICT is seeking a Custodian - Part Time for the SY 2025-2026 to maintain the school physical plant in a neat and clean condition.
About the Role
As a Custodian, you will be responsible for sweeping, dusting, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, cleaning windows, sanitizing bathroom fixtures, performing minor maintenance repairs, and ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the school environment. You will also be required to report safety hazards and comply with safety regulations.
About You
Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
- Valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance card.
- Ability to pass a background clearance upon employment.
- Thorough knowledge of custodial tools and equipment.
- At least one year of custodial background and/or experience.
- Ability to maintain neatness and display a friendly attitude.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift weight in excess of 50 pounds.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in tight spaces.
