About the Role
As a Customer Engineer, you will partner with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud offerings, serve as a technical expert to accelerate customer adoption of complex workloads, and design data foundation architectures. You will engage with customers to understand their business and technical requirements, develop creative cloud solutions, and troubleshoot technical issues.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 6 years of experience with cloud native architecture in a customer-facing or support role.
- Experience with Big Data technologies or concepts such as analytics warehousing, data processing, and data governance.
- Experience using programming languages to design demos or prototypes for customers.
- Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, and data visualization tools on cloud native architectures.
Preferred:
- Experience engaging with technical stakeholders or executive leaders.
- Experience with architecture design and query optimization of scalable systems.
- Experience with cloud products and their differentiation from competition.
- Experience in technical sales or consulting in cloud computing and data analytics.
