About the Role
As a Customer Service Representative, you will handle inbound and outbound calls, assist patients with self-pay balances, process secure payments, provide guidance on billing questions, and document all interactions in compliance with healthcare standards. You will also conduct reminder call campaigns to encourage timely payments and develop a strong understanding of the healthcare client's operations.
About You
Required:
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a call center environment with an emphasis on outbound contact.
- 1 year of experience in a physician billing/health insurance/hospital billing office capacity.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology.
- High school diploma or GED.
Preferred:
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office 365 (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
- Ability to learn multiple client computer systems quickly.
- Strong oral and written English language skills.
- Self-motivated and able to work in a positive customer service environment.
