Summary
Risk Placement Services, Inc. is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to join their team in Brookfield, WI. The role involves overseeing the activities of the Insured Products Inside Service Representatives and ensuring quality and timely customer service.
About the Role
As a Customer Service Supervisor, you will develop and manage a team of 10 Inside Service Representatives, provide training, act as the first point of contact for procedural or technology questions, generate reports to monitor workloads, and collaborate with other department managers to address concerns. You will also participate in hiring, address performance concerns, and promote a positive work environment.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor's degree with 5+ years client service and/or claims management experience -OR- High School degree/GED with 10+ years client service and/or claims management experience.
- 1+ years supervisory experience.
- Appropriate licensing as required.
Preferred:
- 2 years supervisory experience preferred but not required.
- 5 years’ experience in customer service, preferably in an employee benefits related capacity.
- Ability to read and interpret insurance policy language.
- Demonstrated analytical skills.
- High level of positive interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and Adobe Acrobat.
- Excellent command of the English language; oral and written.
- Attention to detail in interpreting, composing, and proofreading written materials.
- Excellent organizational skills.
