Culinovo is seeking a Cybersecurity Engineer to join their team in Atlanta, GA (Downtown) on a long-term contract basis. The role involves hands-on cybersecurity engineering and requires a strong understanding of various security protocols and practices.
About the Role
As a Cybersecurity Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining security measures to protect the organization's systems and data. Your daily tasks will include working with networking protocols, cloud security, system hardening, and incident response. You will also be expected to write scripts and tools to enhance security operations.
About You
Required:
- 6-8 years of hands-on cybersecurity engineering experience.
- Strong understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, TLS, firewalls, and WAFs.
- Deep experience with cloud security.
- Proficiency in system hardening.
- Hands-on experience with SIEM/EDR.
- Ability to write scripts/tools in Python, Bash, or Go.
- Real-world incident response experience.
Preferred:
- Container security experience.
- Infrastructure as Code security (Terraform, CloudFormation).
- Red team / blue team / purple team exposure.
- Certifications (any): CISSP, CCSP, OSCP.
