About the Role
As a Cyclotron Engineer, you will operate, maintain, and repair cyclotrons and accelerator technology used in PET radiopharmaceutical and medical isotope manufacturing. You will support medical research with consistent production of research-grade isotopes, diagnose and repair various systems, and complete GMP-compliant documentation. The position requires operating cyclotrons during production runs, supporting radiation safety duties, training staff, and overseeing contractors.
About You
Required:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, Nuclear Technology, or related field.
- Experience in medical isotope research.
Preferred:
- Background in nuclear power, reactor systems, particle accelerators, or Navy Nuclear Propulsion.
- Knowledge of digital/analog circuitry, RF systems, vacuum technology, and high-voltage systems.
