About the Role
As a Cytotechnologist, you will stain, mount, and study cells under a microscope to identify evidence of cancer and other pathological conditions. You will perform specimen processing, function as a technical reference, and correlate data to detect discrepancies in requisitions and computer data entry orders.
About You
Required:
- CT Cytotechnologist Certification by a nationally recognized certification agency (preferably ASCP).
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, or Medical Laboratory Science.
- Completion of Cytotechnology Program.
- 28 credit hours of biology and chemistry.
- 3 credit hours of mathematics or statistics.
Preferred:
- 3 years of clinical lab experience.
