Summary
Labcorp is seeking a Cytotechnologist to join their team in Raritan, NJ. The role involves screening and evaluating gynecologic and non-gynecologic specimens in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
About the Role
As a Cytotechnologist, you will be responsible for screening and evaluating specimens for possible malignant or related abnormal conditions, performing microscopic evaluations, ensuring proper documentation, and complying with safety and HIPAA policies. You will also provide backup for cytology processing and maintain integrity in reporting results.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited college/university.
- Successful completion of an accredited Cytology program.
- ASCP Cytotechnologist (CT) Certification is required.
Preferred:
- Prior experience working in Cytology.
- ThinPrep and SurePath certifications.
- Automated and non-automated testing experience.
- Familiarity with laboratory information systems (LIS).
