About the Role
As a Data Analyst, you will work as part of an interdisciplinary team to develop and implement techniques for analyzing varied data sets. Your responsibilities will include exploratory data analysis, synthesizing and visualizing results, and applying leading-edge data processing algorithms. You will collaborate with experienced professionals to address national security challenges and enhance homeland protection.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (STEM, Econ, etc.)
- Data analysis skills, including exploratory analysis, cleaning, organizing, and analyzing data to extract information and find trends.
- Basic statistical and mathematical data manipulation knowledge.
- Proficient with MATLAB, Python, or similar programming language.
- Willingness to acquire new skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage priorities.
Preferred:
- Strong presentation skills.
- Ability to work well in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience with large, complex multidimensional data handling.
- Experience with software development and source control management tools like GitHub.
- Experience working with various computer operating systems (Windows/Linux/Unix).
