About the Role
As a Data Center Facilities Technician III, you will inspect, maintain, and repair various data center systems, including electrical distribution and control systems. You will assist senior technicians, manage uptime and maintenance of UPS and generators, and ensure compliance with environmental and safety standards. Your role will also involve supporting the startup and integration of new electrical equipment into the facilities infrastructure.
About You
Required:
- Associate's degree, trade school certification, or equivalent practical experience in a related technical field.
- 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial environment.
- Ability to lift, carry, or move up to 50 lbs of equipment and use OSHA standard safety equipment.
- Ability to work non-standard hours and shifts.
Preferred:
- 2 years of experience in maintenance of electrical distribution systems or a related field.
- Experience in data centers, hospitals, or power plants.
- Knowledge of electrical systems used in a data center environment.
- Knowledge of meters, devices, sensors, and troubleshooting with standard hand tools.
- Ability to communicate with contractors performing maintenance or upgrades.
