Summary
TeleWorld Solutions is seeking a Data Center Field Technician III Lead (Rack & Stack) to join their team in Salt Lake City, UT. The role involves physical installation, testing, and documentation of telecom hardware in data center and central office environments.
About the Role
As a Data Center Field Technician III Lead, you will perform rack & stack installations, execute fiber cabling tasks, conduct DC power work, assist in basic testing of hardware, and document job data. You will also communicate effectively with project managers and maintain clean and safe job sites while managing materials.
About You
Required:
- Minimum 5 years of IP Transport experience.
- High school diploma required; post-secondary technical training preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and clean MVR.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and work in data center environments.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, fiber tools, and power tools.
Preferred:
- Experience in direct Central Office and Data Center environments.
- Good understanding of DC power systems, ESD handling, and fiber optics.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office and mobile reporting tools.
