About the Role
As a Data Center Mechanical Engineer, you will collaborate with teams to develop mechanical designs for data centers, generate scopes of work for infrastructure upgrades, and manage mechanical, fire suppression, and plumbing system issues throughout the project lifecycle. You will also prepare various engineering documents and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
About You
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 years of experience in facility design and construction environments.
- Experience in the design or operation of critical mechanical cooling systems (e.g., HVAC, chillers, fan coils).
- Experience working in a cross-functional environment with external vendors, design engineers, and operations teams.
Preferred:
- Master's degree in Engineering, Business or other relevant field or a professional engineering license.
- Experience with thermal and hydraulic modeling software (e.g., Cadence Reality/6Sigma, AFT Fathom, FloTherm, or ANSYS).
- Experience with pipe stress analysis.
