About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes across various platforms. You will lead data cleanup initiatives, support master data management, develop database schemas, and create comprehensive data documentation. Additionally, you will collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, provide strategic guidance on database design, and address technical debt in data infrastructure.
About You
Required:
- 10+ years of professional experience in data engineering, database administration, or related roles.
- Proven expertise in designing, implementing, and optimizing data pipelines and data integration processes.
- Experience with modern data platforms and technologies such as Fabric, Databricks, or Snowflake.
- Expert-level SQL relational database design skills, including performance tuning and schema design.
- Proficiency in Python or other scripting languages for data automation.
Preferred:
- Solid understanding of master data management (MDM) concepts.
- Exposure to the financial industry, preferably private credit & equity markets.
