CapTech is seeking a Data Engineer (AWS, Azure, GCP) to join their team in Charlotte, NC. The role involves developing data pipelines and other data products using major cloud platforms to enable clients to build and maintain advanced data systems.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing data pipelines, advising clients on cloud technologies, solving complex data problems, and collaborating with various stakeholders to maximize the value of client data. You will articulate architectural differences and ensure efficient data processing.
About You
Required:
- Experience delivering solutions on a major cloud platform.
- Ability to think strategically and relate architectural decisions to business needs.
- Experience in the design and implementation of data architecture solutions.
- Substantial SQL expertise and experience in database administration.
- Demonstrable ability to deliver production data pipelines and other data products.
Preferred:
- Experience with programming languages such as SQL, Python, Java, R, C# / C++ / C.
- Familiarity with databases like SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Snowflake, Redshift, and BigQuery.
- Experience with DevOps tools such as git, docker, and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of additional technologies like Spark, Databricks, and Kafka.
- Popular certifications such as AWS Cloud Practitioner or Microsoft Azure Data Fundamentals.
