Summary
PiTech Solutions Inc is seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Durham, NC (Hybrid). The role involves designing, building, and extending their data platform as part of a modernization effort of enterprise systems including Oracle ERP and Fusion Analytics.
About the Role
As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing ETL/ELT pipelines, customizing Oracle Fusion Analytics data models, integrating third-party data sources, and ensuring data governance and security practices. You will collaborate with various stakeholders to define data requirements and support the full software development lifecycle for data solutions.
About You
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on Oracle technologies.
- Strong experience with Oracle Fusion Applications (ERP, HCM, Utilities) and Fusion Analytics Warehouse (FAW).
- Proficiency in Oracle Data Integrator (ODI), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), or similar ETL tools.
- Solid understanding of data modeling, SQL, and performance tuning in Oracle environments.
- Experience with data governance frameworks and tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica, or Oracle Enterprise Metadata Management).
- Familiarity with integrating cloud-based and on-premise systems, including Salesforce and Esri GIS.
- Understanding of security best practices for data platforms, including role-based access control and data masking.
- Experience working in Agile or hybrid SDLC environments.
Preferred:
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services.
- Knowledge of municipal operations or public sector data domains.
- Familiarity with REST/SOAP APIs and data ingestion from external systems.
