About the Role
As a Data Engineer at Guac, you'll be responsible for designing and implementing scalable data pipelines for processing large-scale data, optimizing machine learning pipelines, and contributing to backend services for mobile and web applications. You will also collaborate with customers' technical teams to ensure smooth data integrations and understand their unique business logic.
About You
Required:
- 3+ years of relevant data engineering experience.
- Strong proficiency in Python/Pandas/data orchestration tools (like Airflow, Dagster, etc.).
Preferred:
- Experience in customer-facing technical roles (e.g. forward deployed engineer).
- Experience with distributed computing frameworks like PySpark or Dask.
- Experience working in an early stage startup environment.
