Konnex4 is seeking a Data Engineering Lead to join their team in the New York City Metropolitan Area. The role involves driving large-scale data initiatives for a long-term Private Equity client, focusing on architecting and leading modern data platforms on Azure Databricks.
About the Role
As a Data Engineering Lead, you will be responsible for architecting, building, and leading modern data platforms on Azure Databricks while managing a small offshore delivery team of approximately 7 members. You will deliver large-scale data programs in enterprise environments and lead Azure Databricks initiatives. Your role will also involve hands-on work with PySpark, Unity Catalog, data architecture principles, ETL/ELT design, and SQL, particularly in the context of Private Equity or Capital Markets data programs.
About You
Required:
- Experience delivering large-scale data programs in enterprise environments.
- Experience leading Azure Databricks programs.
- Strong hands-on experience with PySpark, Unity Catalog, data architecture principles, ETL/ELT design, and SQL.
Preferred:
- Databricks Data Engineering certification.
- Experience working on Private Equity or Capital Markets data programs.
- Exposure to investment, portfolio, deal, or financial data domains.
