About the Role
As a Data Governance, Risk, and Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, overseeing compliance activities, managing data governance policies, and advising management on best practices. You will also lead teams in data governance initiatives, conduct risk assessments, and ensure adherence to data-related laws.
About You
Required:
- 15+ years of experience in data governance, risk, and compliance functions.
- 10+ years of experience leading high performing teams in the data governance, risk, and compliance space.
- Demonstrated ability to build trust and influence with senior leaders.
- Experience in a similar capacity for a professional services firm or large consulting practice.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Preferred:
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Data Management Professional, Certified Information Privacy Manager).
- Advanced degree or juris doctor (JD) preferred.
