About the Role
As a Data Migration Developer, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality, accurate, and compliant data migration from legacy systems into SAP EWM. Your tasks will include data analysis, extraction, transformation, cleansing, validation, and loading (ETL), as well as collaborating with business teams to validate legacy data and coordinate data cleansing activities. You will also create reusable components and maintain comprehensive migration documentation.
About You
Required:
- Proven experience as a Data Migration Specialist on SAP EWM implementations.
- Strong hands-on expertise with SAP BODS for ETL development.
- Ability to design and build efficient, reusable ETL jobs in BODS for EWM-related data objects.
- Strong understanding of data structures, mappings, and transformation rules for SAP EWM.
Preferred:
- Experience defining data migration strategy, methodology, and detailed migration plans.
- Experience identifying data migration risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
- Proven ability to optimize BODS jobs for performance, robustness, error handling, and recovery.
