About the Role
As a Mid Data Scientist, you will work closely with clients to understand their data needs and develop algorithms and systems to analyze structured and unstructured data. Your responsibilities will include data exploration, cleaning, analysis, and visualization, as well as developing predictive models and applying machine learning techniques to provide actionable insights.
About You
Required:
- 2+ years of experience with data exploration, data cleaning, data analysis, data visualization, or data mining.
- 2+ years of experience with statistical and general-purpose programming languages for data analysis.
- 2+ years of experience analyzing structured and unstructured data sources.
- Experience developing predictive data models and quantitative analyses.
- Experience leading the development of solutions to complex programs.
- Experience building and applying machine learning techniques.
- Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Economics, Computer Science, or Data Science.
Preferred:
- Experience in the development of algorithms leveraging R, Python, or SQL and NoSQL.
- Experience with distributed data and computing tools, including MapReduce, Hadoop, Hive, EMR, Kafka, Spark, Gurobi, or MySQL.
- Experience with visualization packages, including Plotly, Seaborn, or ggplot2.
- Experience working with Air Force clients.
- Experience with effectively managing teams and trusted client relationships.
- Experience with developing visually compelling PowerPoint decks and other products to support client delivery.
- Experience working with Advana or Vault.
- TS/SCI clearance.
