About the Role
As a Data Scientist Sr, you will lead the development and execution of fraud prevention strategies, collaborate with various teams to implement fraud countermeasures, and serve as the analytics lead during fraud incidents. Your responsibilities will include monitoring transaction data for fraud patterns, developing detection rules, mentoring junior analysts, and delivering insights to senior leadership.
About You
Required:
Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in fraud analytics, preferably in deposit fraud or financial services.
Strong understanding of deposits, fraud typologies, regulatory frameworks, and transaction monitoring.
Preferred:
Experience in a fast-paced incident management environment.
Ability to translate complex data into actionable strategies.
Demonstrated expertise in guiding teams through high-pressure fraud events.
