About the Role
As a Group Leader, you will lead groups of 15-18 children, supported by co-counselors, through structured camp activities. You will serve as a positive role model, ensure camper safety, maintain communication with families, and collaborate with the Care + Inclusion Team to support each camper's unique needs. Participation in staff meetings and orientation sessions is also required.
About You
Required:
- Professional experience in Education, Special Education, Child Care, Psychology, or Social Work.
- 1-2 years of experience working with young children in a school, camp, or child care setting.
- Demonstrated experience communicating and collaborating with families.
- Highly organized with strong time management and planning skills.
Preferred:
- Master's degree.
- Previous experience working in a camp or similar setting.
- Strong engagement and relationship-building skills.
