About the Role
As a Daycare Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a positive and engaging environment for elementary school-aged children. Your duties will include planning and leading enrichment activities, serving as a role model, and ensuring the safety and well-being of the children in your care. This part-time position averages 17-20 hours per week, primarily during the school calendar year.
About You
Required:
- Must be at least 17 years of age.
- High School Diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Ability to earn CPR/First Aid certification (mandatory).
- Pass Mandatory Background/Sex offender check.
- Legally allowed to work in the United States.
Preferred:
- Some post-secondary training highly preferred.
- Experience working with elementary school-aged children.
- Spanish-speaking ability greatly valued.
