New Gateways, Inc. is seeking a Day Program Caregiver to join their team in Waterford, MI. The role involves providing exemplary care and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
About the Role
As a Day Program Caregiver, you will be responsible for enriching the lives of adults (26+ years) with intellectual and developmental disabilities through skill-building activities, community engagement, and transportation services. You will work flexible daytime hours from 8 am to 3 pm, Monday through Friday, and be part of a dynamic team dedicated to fostering inclusivity and empowerment.
About You
Required:
- Passion for working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and maintain a clean driving record.
Preferred:
- Experience in direct care or support roles.
- Valid driver's license.
